Our Team

Nick Coles, Managing Director

Nick co-founded MarketMeter and has over twenty years’ experience in financial markets’ research gained as a founder and owner of East Coles. Nick is responsible for the day to day management of MarketMeter and has built strong relationships over many years with clients within the ASX200 corporates. He has also developed strong relationships within the funds management and broking industries. These contacts enable the production of the annual research reports. Nick led the development of the extensive online database that manages all MarketMeter research projects, and that forms the foundation for the unique interactive analytics platform.

Rebecca Thompson, Non-Executive Director

Bec has over 20 years of financial markets experience gained at global investment banks and listed companies. With almost a decade as an executive director at J.P. Morgan and KPMG dealing with institutional investors and their interactions with listed companies, and having been an executive team member at an ASX100 company, Bec knows the value of investor perception studies. The combination of this experience and an interest in digital disruption led her to co-found MarketMeter with Nick.

David MacrI, Chair - Advisory Board

As the former CIO of Australian Ethical Investment for over 11 years, David’s background in responsible investment in particular will ensure MarketMeter’s innovation and leadership in ESG will continue to expand. David Chairs the MarketMeter Advisory Board and has responsibility for providing thought leadership on themes arising from MarketMeter’s quantitative and qualitative institutional investor sentiment data.

Stephanie Ottens, Advisory Board Member

Stephanie has an extensive background in investor relations and corporate communications. She has established herself as a trusted advisor, providing strategic counsel to boards, management, and business owners. Her deep understanding of capital markets, investor targeting and engagement, shareholder analytics, and corporate governance provides her with unique insights on MarketMeter’s value proposition for boards and C-suite executives and institutional investors alike.

Amelie Lee, Research Manager

Amy is responsible for overseeing the data gathering process and ensuring the data sample is of sufficient size and quality. Amy manages all the logistics around the compilation of the data sample.
